VIR Consultant is Hiring a Senior Quality Engineer Near Lockport, NY

RequirementsBasic Qualifications
4-year college degree in a related field OR equivalent experience. In addition to the education requirements, three years of experience in a combination of the following: Quality systems management or quality personnel leadership experience, Decision-making around customer requirements, Melting, forging, or conversion manufacturing experience. Demonstrated comfort and success in and around a manufacturing environment.
SkillsFamiliarity with certifications and accreditations (ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap). Project management and organizational tools/methods. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs. Knowledge of company, products, objectives, and operations. Oracle, Maximo, etc. experience a plus. Experienced in the use of continuous improvement tools. Five Why, Risk Assessment and Abatement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, etc. a plus. Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities. Effective interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management and prioritization skills
